During his university years, Kwonduwa joined the Formosa Indigenous Dance Foundation of Culture Arts, a troupe dedicated to preserving and promoting Taiwan's Indigenous music and dance culture. With a rich backgroud in traditional Indigenous music and voice that seems to sing straight to the soul, he carried deep experience into his art.
Kwonduwa first came as a teacher of traditional songs for BDC dancers, but later joined the company himself and became a dancer. Known by the nickname Dudu, he didn't have the typical dancer's physique and was also the oldest member of BDC. Yet his standards for himself were never lower than anyone else's, and the subtle emotions he expressed on stage often left a lasting impressions on the audience.
Besides dancing, Dudu loved to cook and found solance in baking, losing himself in the process and forgetting the worries of everyday life.
